-Are you suffering from feelings of sadness, hopelessness and low self-esteem?

-Do you often feel fatigued and have difficulty getting out of bed in the morning?
-Do you often feel anxious and have racing thoughts or catastrophic thoughts?
-Do you worry every day and have trouble concentrating in school or at work?
-Are you having relational problems with a spouse, partner or significant other?
If you are familiar with these feelings and think you need help, The Free Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Consultation Clinic offers “free” one-time consultation therapy sessions for the general public that can help you address these issues.
At The Free CBT Clinic, you will spend approximately 50 minutes with an experienced counselor, one-on-one, completely confidential. All counselors at The Free CBT Clinic are trained in the treatment of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
If you find your consultation helpful and would like to continue to explore CBT, we can provide you with referrals for ongoing therapy.
Do I need an appointment?
No. The service is offered on a “first-come-first-serve” basis. No prior appointment is required. Simply come to the Southern California Counseling Center at the address below and sign up for a free consultation session. We hope to see you there!
How often does this happen?
Free CBT Consultation Clinic will be held on the first Sunday of every month.
The next clinic is on:
Sunday, May 4, 2014
2pm – 5pm
The Free CBT Consultation Clinics are held at:
The Southern California Counseling Center
5615 W. Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90019

The goal is to introduce Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) treatment out to the general public via a free, individual CBT consultation. By offering the free consultation, we hope to reach individuals who may never have attempted to access treatment before, due to lack of finances or lack of knowledge about the therapeutic process, or even fear of the process.
It will be an opportunity for individuals to be introduced to a new kind of therapy and subsequent positive life change they may have never experienced before. We believe that all people should have the privilege of learning and integrating this type of skills-based therapy.
The free CBT consultation will consist of an individual session with a CBT trained counselor who will offer an introduction and brief education into what CBT is about, how it works and how this treatment helps people.
Again, we hope to see you on:
Sunday, May 4, 2014 – from 2pm to 5pm.
